Ejay Falcon on working again with Erich Gonzales: ‘Sino ba naman ako para tumanggi?’

Ejay Falcon is now focused on his current project, the early primetime show Momay, where he has a new leading lady, Queenie Padilla, Robin Padilla’s oldest daughter. Aside from Momay, Ejay is also one of the actors in the second batch of Agimat: Mga Alamat ni Ramon Revilla Sr.
The former Pinoy Big Brother Big Winner also said that he has no communication with former onscreen partner Erich Gonzales, who is also busy with her projects. “Sobrang busy din nun, may movie pa yata siya, may [teleseryeng] Magkaribal na gagawin sila ni Enchong (Dee) pero ‘pag nagkikita kami nagbabatian naman po kami,” he explained.
Ejay also stressed that he and Erich are already put their previous rift behind them and added that he even told Erich and Enchong that he supports their team-up. “Suportado ko po sila. Tsaka sa sobrang tagal ng pinagsamahan namin, marami din po akong natutunan kay Erich at saka kay Enchong na talagang ipinagpasalamat ko.” Right now, there is no word yet if he and Erich would work again together, but he said that he is willing to work with the actress again given the chance. “Kung magkakatrabaho po kami sino ba naman ako para tumanggi sa trabaho?”
Since Ejay and Erich were previously identified as a love team, the actor said that he did not get worried when she was paired with Enchong instead. “Sa akin naman hindi ko naman tinitingnan ‘yung love team, eh. Kasi unang-una, nung nanalo ako sa PBB, may mga sumusporta sa akin na hindi pa rin nawawala at alam kong hanggang sa huli, susuportahan po nila ako na kahit wala po akong love team susuportahan po nila ako.”
Ejay also refused to talk about the cause of his previous rift with Erich, which started when Ejay supposedly said that Erich would have never gained attention in showbiz if she had not been partnered with him. “Bago ako magsalita iniisip ko po muna ‘yon, masakit po talaga ‘yon. Tsaka lalaki po ako, hindi ko sasabihin kahit pabiro,” Ejay defended himself.

Erich Gonzales admits that she and Ejay Falcon are in a cold silent war

Despite the undeniable success of their teleserye Katorse, rumors spread that the said program’s lead stars, Erich Gonzales and Ejay Falcon, are currently in the midst of cold war. As reported, the conflict was triggered by Ejay’s alleged declaration that being paired with him is in fact Erich’s sole claim to fame.
Upon hearing of the said issue, Ejay immediately denies the said accusation. Humbly he speaks that he is in no position to relay such loaded words. To further explain his side, he says, “Sa akin lang, wala akong karapatang magsabi niyan, at hinding-hindi ko sinabi sa kanya (Erich) ‘yan.”
But despite Ejay’s denial, on Erich’s press conference this morning (December 30), she couldn’t help but grow pretty emotional the moment the said issue was brought up. Without hesitation, she admitted in front of the press that she got truly affected by the said controversy. According to her, “Na-hurt po talaga ako dahil di ko ine-expect na ganon... Sa 4 years ko po sa showbiz, never ako nanggamit ng tao, so nakaka-hurt lang talaga.”
Given her reaction towards the issue, it didn’t come as a surprise when Erich blurted out that she and Ejay aren’t actually in good terms. As of now, she claims that her relationship with Ejay is purely business—no more, no less. She adds that she’s just trying to be nonchalant about their current situation while at work, most especially now that the lad has not yet shown his interest to give out an apology, or to talk to her at least, regarding the matter.
